ERA-CAPS Third Transnational Call for Proposals

“Europe-USA Call strengthening transnational research in the Molecular Plant Sciences”

BBSRC funding for this call is not affected by the outcome of the UK referendum on EU membership.

New participation rules: some countries allow only 1 PI from their country per proposal – full details are provided in the National Annexes below.

The ERA-NET Coordinating Action in Plant Sciences (ERA-CAPS) issued its third Transnational Call for Proposals for Collaborative Research Projects on June 23rd 2016.

The following agencies have confirmed their participation in the call: FWF (Austria)*, F.R.S.-FNRS (Belgium - FWB), ANR (France)*, DFG (Germany)*, NCN (Poland)*, MPNTR (Serbia)*, SNSF (Switzerland), BBSRC (U.K.)*, NSF (USA)* (*indicates participation in data sub-call).

- Consortium composition: min. of 3 partners from 3 different countries
- Call launch pre-proposals: 23 June 2016
- Call closure pre-proposals: 28 September 2016
- Call launch full proposals: 7 January 2017
- Call closure full proposals: 31 March 2017
- Results expected: autumn 2017
- Start selected research projects: spring 2018
